Topic outline

  • Anakin and Padme meme.

All lectures will be held via zoom as scheduled. Most tutorials will be held in-person following the official guidelines. There is an online tutorial group for CHEM but also for those requiring it, for instance, students still waiting for immigration process to complete. Lectures will be recorded and uploaded to course pages (Materials) via Aalto video service (panopto).

The textbook is Adams, Essex: Calculus, A Complete Course, 9th Ed, Pearson. As usual in higher education, only parts of the book will be covered. However, the book is useful also in Calculus 2 and 3, so worth an investment. Aalto-material is distributed via Materials section. Transcripts of the lectures will be added there.

Assessment criteria are the exercises and the final exam.

The actual tutorials begin on Thursday, Sept 16. The first scheduled tutorials on Sept 13 and 14 do not take place.

Please register to one and only one group! We hope that you understand the complexities of course arrangements in the current environment. Sisu has the updated information on times and places.
