Welcome to ADD Basics - Additive manufacturing from idea to business! During this course we will ideate and plan business ideas around additive manufacturing; design and create product prototypes using 3D printing; and pitch the final product and business idea in a Dragon's Den-type scenario. The course will consist of weekly lectures and group work assignments that build on the lecture topics. During the spring of 2022, lectures will be primarily arranged remotely via Zoom. As the course assignments include creating physical 3d-printed products, we will also arrange contact teaching in small groups at Aalto University’s printing and prototyping facilities at Väre and Design Factory for some classes. Please see the course schedule for more details.
