Topic outline

  • Welcome to the Electroacoustics course!

On this course, you will learn fundamentals of electroacoustic systems. The lectures will go through electrical, mechanical and acoustical circuits & analogies, transducers, radiation models, loudspeakers, microphones, headphones + additional topics.

On the course project, you will learn to design and build a two-way loudspeaker. The project will include box design, simulations, measurements, cross-over design and practical work building the loudspeaker. The focus of the project will be in the acoustical domain. The project work is done in small groups.
