  • Welcome to the course!




    On this course we will be exploring themes of work groups and teams from the perspective of leading a team and guiding working processes. We will examine elements of good leadership, collaboration, and group work. The aim is to help participants develop their understanding and skills in leadership, group work, and interaction in work realationships. The course also helps participants to develop their professional identity.

    Besides lectures we will use group process, teamwork and dialogue as learning methods. Presentations, readings and discussions are used to examine the core content both conceptually and practically.

    Pre-assignment

    There is a task of reading + reflection to be completed by the beginning of the course.  See the instructions below. 

    Your pre-assignment can be written in English or Finnish. The cases will be discussed in small groups that are working in English, so if you return your assignment in Finnish be prepared to discuss the main points of your reflections in English.
