    More about the course

    In this course, you will get your hands-on Service Design practice and explore the idea of designing services that add value to specific life events. You and your team will create a service with the purpose of solving a challenge with the use of emerging technologies, this time AI multimodal models. 

    Students will work in multidisciplinary teams, mixing students from different schools, skills, demographics, degrees, and interests. Every week, we will advance in the creation of a Service Concept enabled by emerging technology:

    Week 1. Design Challenge and Human Perspective

    Week 2. Technology Perspective and Business Perspective

    Week 4. Service Prototyping and Validation

    Week 5. Final presentation

    80% Attendance

    In this course, attendance is mandatory. The maximum number of absences is two sessions out of eight, and an assignment needs to be completed to compensate for the absence.  Please make sure that you have all the dates marked on your calendar!

    You are required to:

    • Completed assignments delivered on time 
    • Active participation in online and contact teaching sessions and group work
    • Group final presentation delivered on time
