Content

Selected seminars by representatives of the Finnish chemical industry and academia, with some international speakers, to provide a balanced overview of the use of AI and machine learning in chemical research and development.
Assessment Methods and Criteria

In-person attendance to the seminars (with some flexibility, e.g., can miss 10-20%) Learning logs (with some flexibility, e.g., can miss 10-20%).
Workload

The course contents will be delivered during the seminars as traditional lectures. The students will be required to compile a learning log after the sessions, to reflect upon their content.

A course implementation may be cancelled if the number of students enrolled to the course implementation does not meet the required minimum of five students. In the case of cancelled course implementations, the students enrolled to them must be provided with an alternative way of completing the course or be advised to take some other applicable course.
Registration: Maximum of 25 registered students. Priority to CHEM students. Within CHEM students, priority to MSc and PhD students.
