Learning objectives
- To learn how the military innovates in the different domains of warfare: land, sea, air/space and cyber, and how it keeps track of and adopts the latest technologies and innovations
- To understand the rules and practices for dual use applications of technologies and how the latest technologies, like unmanned and AI capabilities, are deployed in the military
- To get to know companies and other organizations from defence-related industries as well as individual representatives from these companies and organizations
- To understand and analyze real-life business problems in defence-related industries and to be able to provide viable, feasible and valuable solutions for these problems and to be able to defend the recommended solutions

Content

The course offers a deep-dive into how the military innovates and keeps track of and adopts the latest technologies and innovations. It provides also an opportunity to get to know and develop contacts with representatives from companies and other organizations. Students work in multidisciplinary teams to tackle innovation challenges with companies or organizations related to defence. The students will have mentors from the industry and take part in social activities and visits to companies.
