LEARNING OUTCOMES
In the Bachelor’s thesis process students develop competences in the following areas: 1) Goal setting and research approach: The student identifies a research problem in consultation with their supervisor, and develops a research plan, including appropriate research methods; 2) Command of the topic: The student conducts a comprehensive and critical review of existing literature related to their research question, and, if applicable, collects and analyzes relevant data using appropriate research methods. The student derives meaningful conclusions and discusses their implications; 3) Communication of research findings: The student effectively presents their research findings, both orally and in a written format. In addition, the student clearly conveys the key findings and responds to questions about the work. The thesis is written following academic conventions and standards; and 4) Research process: The student develops a project plan for the thesis and implements it in a timely manner. The student effectively manages their research process, drawing on support from their thesis supervisor. They give and receive constructive feedback to improve their own work and the work of others.
