Your task is to conduct an interview in a selected company related to an open position. This task in done in the same groups as Task 1.

Select an interesting open position from Task 1 or elsewhere. Contact the contact person, and arrange a 30 minute face-to-face or remote interview. Start contacting the companies early. If you have difficulties in getting an interviewee, let the companies know that they will get visibility among 20-30 potential future employees who will graduate from Aalto (SSE major). If nothing works, ask help from the course teacher before the deadline. Let's use this GoogleSheet to avoid contacting the same companies.

During the interview, find out at least the following:

• What skills and knowledge should a student in SSE acquire during her studies to be a good candidate for this position / the company in general?
• What are the most typical differences between outstanding and average applicants?
• What kind of recruitment process does the company have?
• What will the person hired to this position concretely do?
