Final draft
Completion requirements
Due: Monday, 29 November 2021, 8:00 AM
Please submit a final draft of the seminar paper as a pdf, using the correct template.
For the final draft, all parts of the paper should be in place and the paper should be practically ready for anyone to read, except for some final improvements and polishing. In particular, you should have:
- A final title
- A complete abstract
- A final paper structure, i.e., the sections and sub-sections of the paper – the structure should support your message and could look something like this (the structure can vary, discuss this with your instructor if you are still unsure):
- A title that captures the essential topic and contributions of the paper
- An abstract that summarises the context, background, method, results, and discussion of the paper
- An introduction that motivates the paper
- A presentation of background concepts and literature needed to understand the paper
- A description of the research approach, for example, a description of the searches you have done to find relevant literature
- A presentation of the main literature you have found and a discussion of the results that you are utilising for your paper (this is the main part of the paper)
- A conclusion which summarises your contributions and provides an outlook on potential future work (if applicable)
- Complete text in each section, with proper use of references
- A complete list of references
The final draft should be so complete that it is possible for all students on the seminar to read it and provide constructive feedback and critique. Being a draft, it may still change for the final submission based on the feedback received, but it should now be as complete and final as possible.
