Phase 2: Reflective analysis
In this assignment you are supposed to apply domain related knowledge acquired in the online lectures with some chosen challenge, issue or problem having a sustainability or ethical dimension.
The challenge can be already an established and well-known one (such as ethical concerns in AI, plastic pollution in seas, etc.), or some newer currently emerging phenomenon (e.g. based on your own observation) facing our environment, society and business organizations and thus we should be concerned about it's possible negative impacts. Try to choose the one that you would be personally interested in.
The purpose is to provide you here with the opportunity to analytically examine that challenge, and connect it to learning objectives of this online course. That will be done by producing a short analytic essay on the chosen challenge, in which you introduce the phenomenon behind the challenge describing its possible ethical and/or environmental concerns, and handle them by applying some knowledge and theory learned in online lectures. Include your own reflective thoughts, observations and possible experiences related to the chosen challenge, why it matters and how it could possibly be solved and/or its negative impacts eliminated.
The report should meet the following criteria:
• Submitted as a PDF
• Length 2-5 pages + possible appendices (like reference list)
• Single line-spacing
• Font size 12
• Used sources to be cited and listed as references following some consistent citation notation (reference list is not included in the length requirements).
