INSTRUCTIONS 

This is the final opportunity to present your latest thesis to get relevant feedback from supervisor(s) and your peers before finalizing it. For 28 March (the presentation day), you are expected to show ideally 80% ready version of your written manuscript via a slide deck summarizing the latest status of your thesis.

How do you know what 80% means? The following points may help you understand better:

• Use the self checklist (DOWNLOAD) and the BA thesis template (LINK) that were introduced earlier to write the manuscript as much as you can (more than 16 pages). Here, 80% is relative but it means that your thesis content is more-or-less written down without major changes / improvements.
• At this stage, pay more attention to the content (introduction, lit review, methods, finding..) than formalities and clarities & style. 
• You also build a deck of maximum 3 slides to present the current status of your thesis manuscript (corresponding to the submitted manuscript). 
• So the submission to this assignment should be made with two files: (1) a Work-In-Progress manuscript (over 16 pages, using the thesis template), and (2) a slide deck. 
• Soon after your presentation, your supervisor and advisor will review the submitted manuscript, while you are using the slide deck to summarize your current situation. Your presentation with the slide deck can help supervisor/advisor locate the main issues and provide proper supports afterward. Use it wisely / strategically to benefit from!

NOTE: For those who are aiming for presenting the thesis later in the year, you can submit the latest version of your manuscript, and the slide deck of the current status of your thesis. Use this chance to get most out of it! See the BA thesis presentation dates and due dates: LINK.

ORGANIZATION OF THE PRESENTATIONS

The presentation will be organized in two sessions: Morning and Afternoon. You need to participate one of them.

• Morning (09:15-12:00, at Y347 / Otakaari 1): Radovan, Kathleen, Diana, Elina, Zina, Tomi, Carlotta, Emma, Vera, Matteo, Julia, Vilis
  
• Afternoon (13:15-17:00, at Y347 / Otakaari 1): Asala, Alex, Nina, Solveiga, Lu, Jonna, Volha, Daniel, Kamilla, Kristin, Mika, Fiona, Hanna, Jihae, Maria, Tuomas
  

Each student has 10 minutes, including the quick feedback session with your supervisor / advisor (max presentation time: 7 minutes). 

Peers and other teachers (supervisors / advisors) can leave feedback during/after the presentation via http://presemo.aalto.fi/bathesis/

FORMAT OF THE SUBMISSIONS

Name your files: 

• For the WIP manuscript: LastName_FirstName_Assignment4-1.pdf
  
• For the slide deck: LastName_FirstName_Assignment4-2.pdf

Format your file as PDF.

Remove guiding texts from the BA Thesis Template when submitting your manuscript.
