Succsessful submissions of assignments and mid-term presentations will qualify groups/individuals to proceed towards their final projects.
What YOU are supposed to do /submit:
SHOW - PRESENT – DISCUSS - ANSWER
8 minutes…
Teams will present the overview of what they have done so far in this project course. Teams will show their model studies, sketches, videos, ... whatever led to the 2 project proposals (consulting from teachers recommended).
The project proposals represent the merger of assignment 01 and assignment 02. This means that we will see structures, which are based on the priciples of Steward Gough platforms (SGP). The actuation is based on the individually explored "mechanisms". In addition, the teams should think of possible applications. Therefore, different scales, materials, etc. should be considered and explored. The teams will present 2 proposals. It is essential, that the proposals are very different in every respect.
5 minutes…
of discussion, questions and feedback by the panel (teachers+guests).
2 minutes…
questions about the framework (readings, your essays, ...).
Note! Your short presentation (team/mandadtory) must be carefully prepared, because you will have limited time only.
How WE look and evaluate your presentations:
The panels
will together grade the presentations answers and performance of the teams.
Guiding questions will be amongst others: How profound have the preliminary studies of the team and individuals been so far? Could the team present in an efficient way what they have done and what has been the conclusion – in terms of their (2) proposals? What is the level of innovation of the proposals? Could the team build a stronger project compared to the situation when the course started? Did the team make use of course offers and team skills?
