    Welcome to Corporate Responsibility and Ethics

    So what is this course about? 

    This course is highly interactive, and you'll be working closely with your pre-assigned team throughout the week. Broadly speaking, we will have in-class sessions each day, with Friday given over to your team assignment presentations. There is an individual assignment due on Tuesday evening, a short reflective assignment due on Saturday evening, and you also gain marks for active participation in class discussions. 
    

    The course is short, but by the end of the week you will have a good handle on the core elements of CSR and ethics, with a strong focus on sustainability as well as responsibility. You will have informed views on the ethics of a wide range of business topics, and will be equipped to approach ethical questions in an organised and structured way. 
    

    To do well, keep an eye on deadlines, and engage early with your team. I look forward to getting to know you and to seeing your work.

    As time goes on, certainly you will have questions as we go along. Please raise these sooner rather than later. You can share your questions in the Q&A Forum (at the bottom this Home page for the benefit of the entire class and you are always welcome to email me directly (sheila.killian@ul.ie).
