The team-based case presentation and report should adhere to the following course aims and intended learning outcomes:

The DSI Course Aims to explore, illuminate and generatively validate the role, responsibility and value of Designers in enhancing innovation processes and entrepreneurial practices, with a particular emphasis on the rapidly emerging and imminent utilisation of Generative AI Platforms in the identification, validation & realisation of Design & Brand Philosophies.

On successful completion of the course, participants should be able to identify, validate and persuasively communicate the role and value of design in enhancing innovation processes and practices from various strategic perspectives, contexts and approaches. Evaluate the suitability and applicability of design, design-thinking and effectual action through an exploratory case-based experimentation and illumination via a generative and collaborative project-based application.

The Case report should reflect the following:
1.
Demonstrated use of theories, concepts and frameworks presented during the course, including:  a) the U_Process outlining the case companies Mission, Strategic Vision (ref.: Kotter’s ‘Characteristics of an Effective Vision + Strategic Significance Criteria Wk. 3. Day 3. Folder, Document 1.3.), Core-Values and Strategy. b) Integrated Design, Brand and Technology Platforms Utilised, c) A Visualised Business Model Canvas BMC indicating the Business and Revenue Models used, d) the Systematic Utilisation of a Generative AI Platform such as Chat GPT-4.
