Before bending:

  1. The maximum plate thickness is 1.5 mm.
  2. It is forbidden to bend forged, flat or round steel or metallic wire, bars, nails or screws or similar.
  3. Always work in the middle part of the machine.
  4. Measure and cut out a suitable plate piece and remove all sharp edges.
  5. Mark the bending points on the right sides of the metal plate, and cut off possible corners.

How to use the machine

  1. Place the workpiece between the jaws of the lower and upper blade, and use the handle to lower the upper blade close to the workpiece. Check that the upper blade runs exactly along the bending line, and lock the piece in place. Always make sure that your fingers, or the fingers of your working partner, are not between the blades before lowering the upper blade.
  2. Hold the lifting handles with both hands and bend the piece by lifting the lower blade. Do not lift the blade with your back; instead, bend your knees, straighten your back and proceed by using your leg muscles.
  3. Inspect the bending angle visually, lower the lower blade and release the upper blade by turning the handle.
  4. Clean the workspace after completing your work.
