Before working:

1. Eye and hearing protection must be worn.
2. Sparks are generated when operating the machine, and you should protect yourself against them with work clothes and gloves.
3. The use of the belt sander creates heat, noise and sparks.
4. The machine’s sparks should be directed away from those working in the same facility.

How to use the machine

1. Start the machine.
2. Grind the piece by holding it with both hands and pointing the sparks downwards in the belt's rotation direction.
3. Only grind pieces that you can handle safely. Grind larger pieces on the worktop using, for example, an angle grinder.
4. When using a grinding stone, support the piece against the tool rest and have the protective guard in place.
