Before sawing:

  1. Lower the blade guard as close to the workpiece as possible.
  2. Make sure that the piece is securely supported against the table at the cutting point.
  3. With round profiles, make sure that the piece cannot rotate during cutting (cutting jig / locking pliers).
  4. For pieces that are difficult to cut, ask for help to support the workpiece against the table.
  5. If needed, place the side guide or the cutting ledge into position.
  6. Wear eye and hearing protection.

Sawing:

  1. Start the machine and wait until it reaches full speed.
  2. Take a firm grip of the workpiece.
  3. Press the workpiece tightly against the table and the guide.
  4. Rest the side of your hand on the table in precision work and when cutting small pieces.
  5. When necessary, use a push stick to progress your workpiece and to remove small pieces.
  6. Use an appropriate cutting jig when cutting round pieces.
  7. Do not pull the piece backwards while sawing.
  8. If the blade gets stuck, switch off the machine. Wait for the blade to stop, and only then pull the piece away from the blade.

After sawing:

  1. Turn off the machine and wait for the blade to stop.
  2. Clean the machine and the workspace.
  3. Take the leftover pieces to the waste container.
