Before sawing:

1. Check that the workpiece contains no stones or metal, nails, staples, or similar.

Sawing:

1. Place the workpiece against the back stopper.
2. Switch on the machine.
3. Hold the piece in place with one hand. Be careful not to hold the piece too close to the blade.
4. To cut, pull the machine from top to bottom and back up again.
5. Turn off the machine.

After sawing:

1. Turn off the machine.
2. Clean the machine.
3. Remove leftover pieces.
