Reflective essay I (INDIVIDUAL): Involving users in the design process
Completion requirements
Format
Write between 500 - 800 words in English reflecting on the involvement of users in the design process. Analyse what kinds of research methods can be used in user research and what kinds of users can be found. Do different users need to be studied differently? Use your current project in this course and your possible past projects as examples and point out tradeoffs that need to be carried out, because of amount of time, skills, access to people, and so on. Do not only describe the possibilities but analyse also how they shape the design process.

Description:
A reflective essay is a method to reflect on your own learnings INDIVIDUALLY. It gives you the space to bring together what you have read, what you have heard and what you have seen during this course. It is about communicating your own personal reflections and demonstrating analytical thinking in the given topic.
Format

- Analyse the activites and methods you have used
- Evaluate the pros and cons of using methods in the design process
- You can make comparisions, for example compare to past experiences
- Express your personal opinions. You can write on the first person!
